PATCH TEST & RESTRICTIONS

Patch Test & Restrictions for Semi Permanent Make Up treatment and Henna treatments

When requesting Semi Permanent Make Up (SPMU) treatment or Henna treatment, please read the below carefully. Semi permanent make up procedure may compromise some medical conditions as it requires minor breakage of the skins surface.

Skin conditions

  • Eczema; This may make you prone to skin infections/irritation.

  • Psoriasis or other chronic skin or health conditions; excluding acne and disorders of
    pigmentation.

  • Keloid scarring; – We strongly advise against having a semi permanent make up
procedure. This is NOT the correct treatment for you.

`
Pregnant and Breast feeding (This only applies to Semi Permanent Treatments)
(Henna is safe if you are carrying a child or breast feeding)
It is against the law to have this treatment whilst pregnant or breast feeding as this may cause infection to your unborn/breast fed baby, as the pigment is absorbed into the bloodstream.

Autoimmune disease, Heart defects, Diabetes
If you suffer from any of the above you cannot have the semi permanent make up treatment. Blood thinners or other medication may cause you to bleed profusely during the treatment, please ensure you have a signed medical form from a medication professional.

Allergies – If you have reacted previously to nickel or PPD treatments please cancel your appointment immediately.
